INMAN ALIGNER is a great way to achieve a healthy, happy smile.
Straightening your teeth can improve confidence in your appearance and help maintain good dental hygiene. When thinking of orthodontic treatment, you might be tempted to think that unsightly and uncomfortable braces are the only option. However, thanks to advances in orthodontic technology, the Inman aligner offers the perfect solution for straightening out those front teeth quickly, painlessly and cost effectively.
Here at Confidental Clinic Surbiton, we believe in helping you achieve the best smile possible.
What is Inman Aligner?
Inman Aligner is a removable brace specifically designed to straighten the forefront teeth. It has been developed to align upper or lower front teeth in a gentle and safe manner. You will need to be wearing the Inman aligner 16 to 20 hours per day. The device will need to be removed every time you eat, and your teeth thoroughly cleaned before it can be refitted.
How does it work?
The device uses a coiled spring behind the teeth and a thin metal wire covering the front of the teeth. The two work together by creating a push and pull system that gently and effectively move the teeth into position.
How long does treatment take?
The Inman aligner is designed for each patient’s need. This will reduce the need of numerous visits to the practice. We will prescribe a treatment tailored to your individual needs. In comparison to other orthodontic treatment, the Inman aligner provides incredibly rapid results. Depending on your current situation, you could see results in as short as 6 or up to 16 weeks, and few people need to spend longer than this in their brace.
Is it painful?
Like every orthodontic treatment, there may be minor discomfort for the initial couple of weeks. The rest of the treatment should be comfortable as the device is designed to very gently move teeth into place using the spring coil and wire. If minor discomfort occurs, over the counter analgesics are very effective. Our dentists at Confidental Clinic Surbiton will always be here to help you if discomfort occurs during treatment.
