A simple procedure is all that it takes to give you younger looking skin.
Whatever the results of today’s elections, the one thing that we can all be certain of is that, tomorrow, we will wake up one day older.
Days turn into weeks and weeks into months until there comes a day when we take a look in the mirror and wonder exactly when those wrinkles first appeared on our face!
Age has a habit of creeping up on us without us realising it, but some of the effects of ageing can be reversed should we choose to do so. One of the most obvious physical signs of growing older are those telltale wrinkles that appear on our face. Here at the Confidental Clinic in Surbiton, we can help to reverse these.
Our Surbiton facial aesthetics team at the Confidental Clinic are fully trained and experienced and are here to help you to achieve the look that you want. Our procedures are safe and will produce natural looking results that will leave you with fewer facial wrinkles.
There are two main types of procedures available; anti wrinkle treatment and dermal fillers
Anti wrinkle treatment
At our facial aesthetics clinic, we use Azzalure which uses Botox as its active ingredient. This is perfectly safe in our experienced hands and works by relaxing the muscles which cause lines and wrinkles to appear. You need have no concern about the more extreme results you may have seen on TV; we will not perform any procedure that we consider unsafe or ill advised.
Azzalure is applied just underneath the skin in the area of the wrinkles, using a very fine needle. There should be no major discomfort during this, though you may feel a minor pricking sensation as the needle enters the skin.
Dermal fillers are applied in the same way as Azzalure but perform a different role. Whereas Azzalure is used to relax muscles, dermal fillers are used to replenish the skin with collagen which is lost as we get older. This can result in thinning lips, sunken cheeks and deep lines that Azzalure is unable to treat. One of the most common procedures that we carry out with dermal fillers is lip enhancement. Lips that have become thinner over the years can be plumped up safely and naturally using this method.
Although both of these treatments are perfectly safe in the experienced hands of our Surbiton clinical team, there are certain groups of people who are unable to have them. These include pregnant or breastfeeding women and those with certain medical conditions. We ask that you are completely honest with us about your medical history during your consultation – this is for your own safety.
