What makes Pola whitening different

In the last few years, Pola whitening has become an extremely popular treatment. It is one of the most effective and fastest treatments. The latest Pola technology delivers the best result in no time. The following are the factors that make Pola whitening different from other teeth whitening treatments.

  • Minimal chair time in the dentist’s office. The treatment can be done in under 30 minutes
  • Fluoride releasing that remineralize the teeth and protect them against tooth-sensitivity
  • Pola technology uses a high water content formulation that has pH neutral and high viscosity. It protects your gums during treatment
  • It is 30% faster than most other teeth-whitening treatments
  • Unlike other whitening treatments, Pola whitening does not require blue light or laser to activate the whitening gel
  • It produces quick results that last a long time

What to expect before and during Pola Whitening?

First of all, when you visit your dentist for Pola whitening you will be asked if you want in-clinic treatment or at home. However, you can expect the following before and during treatment.

  1. Your dentist will examine your teeth and have an initial discussion with you while inquiring about your dental history and give you the most appropriate advice to achieve your goals.
  2. If you choose in-clinic Pola whitening then firstly the dentist will clean your teeth by removing plaque and tartar. Then he will use Pola bleaching containing hydrogen peroxide and other material to whiten your teeth. The process will last for just 30 minutes.
  3. When the bleaching gel is applied to your teeth it gets to work immediately. The stains are broken into small pieces and oxygen enters into the enamel of your teeth to destroy the molecules that cause staining
  4. When you choose at-home whitening treatment then impressions of your teeth are taken to prepare trays in the laboratory
  5. After the preparation of trays, you will collect them along with syringes of whitening gel. Check your trays while putting them on in front of the test whether they fit properly or not.  You can decide whether you want a PolaDay kit or Pola night kit.  The dentist will explain to you the best process to achieve your goals
  6. Before putting trays on, brush your teeth, apply the gel on the tray and wear them for at least 45 minutes. Ensure that bleaching gel does not come out of the trays
  7. When remove the trays rinse them as well as your mouth with warm water

What to expect after Pola Whitening?

When you have completed the in-clinic treatment or at-home, adhere to the following.

  1. Don’t eat, drink, or smoke for at least 2 hours after the treatment
  2. Avoid taking coloured foods and beverages
  3. Existing filling, veneers, and crowns will not whiten and further treatment options will be discussed
  4. Store whitening syringes in cool place i.e in the fridge, etc when are not in use
  5. Brush your teeth twice a day
  6. Floss once a day
